"My name is Hendrix Hall and I am a graduate of Sandwich Secondary School. Since graduating, I have been attending the University of Windsor majoring in business at the Odette School of Business. I aspire to educate Black youth in business and hopefully help build Black-owned businesses within Windsor-Essex County in the future. The Hour-A-Day Study Club helped me bring my family’s shared aspirations to fruition. Thank you to all of the members of The Hour-A-Day Study Club that helped make my transition from high school to university less stressful; and helping me with my first steps into my future."

Hendrix received the Lornie Sr. & Evelyn Hurst memorial scholarship in 2020.
