"My name is Serena Robinson and I in my first year University of Windsor studying music and psychology. I am honoured to have received the Glendora Watkins Scholarship and the Hilda Watkins Bursary from the Hour-A-Day Study Club. This recognition and financial support is greatly appreciated. The most rewarding part of this experience has been connecting with my family history. I’m so grateful to the ladies of the club for all their hard work fundraising and to all the donors this year who continue to support and uplift descendants of the Underground Railroad."
