Micah Moore

#HADSCscholarshipspotlight: Micah Moore

My name is Micah Moore and I am a graduate of Assumption High School in the Windsor-Essex Catholic School Board. I am attending Wayne State University enrolled in the Marketing Management and Jazz studies programs.

On thing I've always been interested in through my time in high school is the study of marketing. One day I am hoping to work somewhere that are within the lines of marketing or running my own business. Some extra curricular activities that I have done through my high school career are band, jazz band, basketball team, wrestling team, and track team. Sports has always been a big thing for me while I was in high school because of how fun they were.

While getting older I realized that all of the extra curricular activities that I have done, really helped me with my time management skills which are something that I will really need later in my life. Some community involvement that I have participated in last school year was the Detroit Marathon Hydration Station. A lot of students from Assumption high school helped with this marathon because one of my teachers in the school was responsible for working the hydration station. This was a really good experience and I found it very entertaining and motivating to watch all of the marathon runners pass me.

Micah Moore received the Elizabeth Washington Memorial Scholarship and Michael Shreve Memorial Scholarship of $2,000.

Congratulations, Micah Moore! @micah_bmoore7
