🌟✨#HADSCscholarshipspotlight: Kaylo Elliott 🌟✨

My name is Kaylo Elliott and I am a graduate of W.F. Herman Secondary Academy in the Greater Essex District School Board. I am attending the University of Waterloo enrolled in the Chemical Engineering with Co-op Program. While at The University of Waterloo I will also be a student athlete on football team. I am very proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish during high school as I maintained an average above 96% every year, achieving a high of 98.28% last year! After obtaining my degree at Waterloo, along with valuable co-op experience, I want to eventually work in the engineering field and help improve processes that I truly find interesting. I would then be able to use my position and knowledge to help many younger kids in different communities. Whether that’s through mentorship, guidance, advice, or even starting my own scholarship as financial support. In the long term, I will support students from low-income/unsupported backgrounds in applying to university, along with advancing my career. Too many bright students lack support, and I hope to help them through mentoring and financial support.

I am determined to give back. I truly believe that a good education and a supporting cast can transform lives in such an incredible way.

Kaylo received the top scholarship, the Martha C. Elliott-Tolson & George R. Tolson Sr. Memorial Scholarship of $3500.

Congratulations Kaylo Elliott!
